A Quick Word
Just so you all don’t think that I’ve disappeared into cyber space….
We had a great weekend! The tourney went very well and teams from all over the USA seemed to have a really good time. We arrived home yesterday afternoon. While Tim unloaded the car (his suggestion and a very sweet one) I took Markus to the hollow. He and I had a great time on the playground as the sun was dropping. He can now go up & down the slide ladders all by himself. He loves to go up and down, up and down….He also likes to pick which of the three slides to go down and no longer needs me there to catch him. He truly is a monkey. Later this week I’ll try to get some playground pics of him.
Last night we had a family dinner of Jersey Mike’s Subs (they are so very good). Tim and Rob ran out and brought them home. While they were gone I made dessert: Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cake which I haven’t made in probably TEN years! It was just as good as we all remember. Rob, Ashley, Markus, David & Faith joined us. We missed all you others! After dinner the guys all went their sperate ways and Faith, Ashley and I played two rounds of the card game golf. I won’t say who won, but it was a battle and victory was SWEET!
Today I have been BUSY working on Nationals registration. Team registration are beginning to come in quickly. I’m hoping to get some quilting in before Tim returns from basketball practice. I think we are going to watch Adam Krejci’s college bball game tonight. Tim likes to get to his former player’s games when they invite him. I’ll go to keep Tim company and because he said he’d take me to dinner first.

I won’t say who, but the person who made an “amazing” comeback at the end of the game and won was the same person who was keeping score.
